Hi everyone!! Erin Ireland here again, bringing you a fresh and healthy start to your long weekend!!! This simple and healthy spin on the classic Orange Julius will take you back to your mall-rat days of high school — at least that’s what it did for me! Oh, the hours we would spend at Capilano Mall in North Vancouver. An Orange Julius was one of my go-tos from the food court. But the original recipe is filled with sugar. This version contains much less and includes the option of adding a few superfood ingredients, like hemp or maca powder (which does not affect flavour in the slightest). Hope you love it as much as the real thing! OH and thanks to Jilly for inspiring this recipe post via her Snapchat!!
Ingredients:
1 c. almond milk
1 ¼ c. fresh-squeezed orange juice
2 ½ tsp vanilla
2 packets (2 tsp) Stevia
1 ½ c. ice cubes (about 9 cubes)
1 tbsp. hemp hearts (optional)
1 tsp. maca powder (optional)
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to your blender and combine until smooth. Garnish with an orange wedge.
Do you love Orange Julius as much as I do?!?! Let me know in the comments below …

So good!
I had to improvise as I was out of ice!
Frozen strawberries were a great replacement!
