Home Tour Series: Annie’s Dreamy Nursery

Our Home Tour Series (opens in a new tab) is FINALLY wrapping up as we reveal our LAST (but certainly not least!) room of the house! This room was left until last as it was originally our guest room and then we transformed it into Annie’s Nursery!!!

When Justin and I found out we were having a baby girl I was SO EXCITED to be able to do a feminine nursery!! I originally envisioned PINK EVERYTHING! That was until I came across the Nuage Mural (opens in a new tab) from Anewall (opens in a new tab) (Annie’s cloud wallpaper)!! I mean … how could you not love it?? It’s so dreamy!! To be honest, I was a little bit nervous about it because I wasn’t sure how it would fit in with everything else and I debated about putting it on ALL of the walls but in the end, it turned out STUNNING!

The next thing I fell in love with for Annie’s nursery was her dresser (opens in a new tab) from Pottery Barn Kids (opens in a new tab)! As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted one for both kids rooms, so naturally, Annie got the pink one and Leo got the black one (opens in a new tab)!

We also got Annie’s oval crib (opens in a new tab) from Pottery Barn (opens in a new tab) as well! We love it because it actually converts to a toddler bed so we can adjust it as she grows! It comes in Vintage Simply White and Vintage Grey!

Once we had the mural up and Annie’s pink dresser in the room we loved how the pops of pink and light blue made the room look so fresh and airy so we decided to add another little hint of pink by getting custom drapes from The Well Dressed Window (opens in a new tab) here in Kelowna! The drapes are a nice soft blush pink with the most adorable white pompoms lining the edge!

Once we got the curtains up things started to really come together piece by piece … it was fully done by the time she was born because I really took my time with this space but it worked out because she is really only in her nursery right now for naps as she sleeps in our room with us.

The white wood floating shelves (opens in a new tab) and the big artwork you see in her room such as the numerals print (opens in a new tab), the hot air balloon print (opens in a new tab) and the “You are Magic” print (opens in a new tab) are all from Minted (opens in a new tab). The chandelier (opens in a new tab) (from Wayfair (opens in a new tab)!!) is the same one we originally had in the spare bedroom, it’s classy and comes at a great price point! Plus, I think it fits the space well as it gives off a little whimsical vibe!

We also get a lot of comments on the Gilded Hare lamp (opens in a new tab) that sits on top of her dresser, this is from Anthropologie (opens in a new tab) and is a hand-me-down from Leo’s old nursery!

Annie’s change table on top of her dresser is from Maude Kids (opens in a new tab), the pink fuzzy ottoman is a score from HomeSense, the big tall flamingo (opens in a new tab) is from Indigo (opens in a new tab), and the beautiful vintage rug (opens in a new tab) that Peaches generously peed on is from The Cross Decor & Design (opens in a new tab) … LOL!

Annie’s nursery is mine and Justin’s favourite spot in the house right now … I think we both love it so much because it’s so feminine, classy, and above all, it’s just a downright dreamy space. While it’s pretty girly, it’s the perfect amount of girly and it will easily still be “in” as she grows older. I don’t see there being any issue with the decor when she hits the ripe age of 5 … other than the fact that we will have to get her a real bed by that point!

  1. Jillian, Annie’s nursery is absolute perfection! You dreamed up those most perfect space, that only a true creative could put together. It’ feels like your walking on a cloud just by looking at it all! Thanks for sharing and for including our blush Tassel basket in her space. I’m so glad you could use it. Xo Julien – Twig & Tassel

  2. It is absolutely beautiful, just like your darling daughter. I am sure as she gets older she will appreciate your amazing taste and talent very much !

  3. This is so gorgeous and the pics are amazing. One thing— your website is a little smushed together (get technical term). It seems to all blend together on iPad. Makes it hard to read.

  4. Annie’s Nursery is absolutely stunning! It’s as if you’ve stepped out onto a cloud. So soft, airy and bright. Way to go @JillianHarris. And thank you for featuring our blush tassel basket in her nursery. I’m so glad you were able to put it to good use. xo Julien – Twig & Tassel

Where did you get her changing basket?

  6. Hi, i was wondering where your glider is from and what fabric color you have?

    Thanks 🙂

  7. Love the room. Where did you get Annie’s pink pacifier and clip. I love it and would like to find it to give as a baby gift.

  8. This nursery is gorgeous! I’m currently pregnant and this is inspo for my daughter’s nursery! Where is your ottoman from? It is exactly what I am looking for!

  9. Amazing inspiration! I was wondering where the mobile above Annie’s crib is from? I am starting to plan my baby’s nursery and would love to find a unique mobile like this one.

    Thanks!

    1. Thank you!! The glider is from Wayfair, but it isn’t available anymore. You could try to contact them for more assistance!! xoxo

  10. Hi Jillian! I am in love with your nursery, I am using this as a model for my baby’s nursery I am putting together now. I am looking for an area rug very similar to the one in your photo. But it seems as if the rug listed is incorrect as it does not look like the one in your photo. Can you confirm if this is the correct rug or link the correct one? Thank you!!

  11. Love, love, LOVE this cloud wallpaper! wondering how you matched the seams since there isn’t a repeat point?

  12. I love love love this wall paper. I contacted a painter because I figured it was paint. where is this wallpaper from? it’s absolutely beautiful
