As most of you probably know by now, I am hooked on cold pressed juice and have been drinking it for a few years now!! As much as I love the taste, I don’t like the ones that are toooooo sweet. I’ve been on the hunt for a tomatoe based juice but with no luck, I finally asked Alex from the Juicery Co if it was even possible to make!! And well … she made the magic happen for me!!! I put in my special request for Canada Day so that I could enjoy our classic Canadian drink in a healthy way. It was so delicious, so fresh but also tasted so healthy!!! I can’t wait to try this recipe at home ….
Yields: 1 Litre of juice
Ingredients:
7 medium vine ripe tomatoes
½ a red bell pepper
3 large carrots
5 celery stalks
½ a small sweet organic onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 lime
A few springs of cilantro and a pinch of sea salt!
Note: if you would like to spice it up you could juice a hot pepper or add cayenne!
Directions:
1. Wash chop and prepare all veggies for juicing, leave the celery leaves on they add a nice flavour!
2. Juice all the vegetables and then add the salt and spice to your liking.
3. You will be left with a delicious and healthy Caesar mix – just add vodka, lime & ice!
4. ENJOY!!!

no clam? That’s what makes it a ceasar?
this is not a ceasar. clamato is not bad for you at all. only about 60 calories for a cup. clamato is what MAKES a ceasar a ceasar. 🙂
Clamato has MSG in it… Thats what makes it “bad”
You can always add some clam nectar into the above recipe!
Caesar Jillian, not Caeser … ?. Unless that’s your special recipe name … ?
