You may remember this fall when Shay styled our favourite sweater 4 ways (if you missed that blog you can check it out here)!! Well, that blog was SUCH a hit that we decided we would do a few more!! So, I’m kicking things off today by letting you in on my FAVOURITE pair of everyday jeans (which also just so happen to be only $67 CAD!!). I’m also going to show you FOUR of my favourite ways to style them by easily swapping out shirt and shoes to make a cute (and effortless!!) outfit!
Ps. I’m loving these sorts of blogs lately as I mentioned before, I’m trying to buy less and less and reuse my favourite items that I already have in my closet. In previous years I would purchase new clothes quite often to give all of my readers some lots of variety but I found that buying all new clothing all of the time wasn’t really aligned with my values! So, these days I enjoy blogging about the items I love that I consider great investments along with sharing items that are staples in my wardrobe I’ve had for a while!
Style 1: Oversized Sweater
Oversized sweaters are a must-have! Not only are they ridiculously comfy but you can easily dress them up or down! I like to pair my everyday jeans with our favourite Free People sweater and booties for a more “dressed up” look. For a more relaxed, casual style, I’ll pair them with an oversized crewneck such as this one from Privilege Clothing and hunter boots!

Style 2: Peplum Tops
Peplum tops are one of my favourite things to wear in the spring and summer (besides dresses, that is … ps. I’ll be sharing my 3 fave spring dresses with your soon!!). I find them so flattering and they’re nice and cool to wear in the warmer months because they’re so loose and flowy! If you were to search through my closet you would find a plethora of peplum tops!
The white peplum top below is from Fox + Wit, the grey one is from Urban Outfitters and the yellow one I scored from ZARA! Did you notice I paired two of these outfits with my favourite wedges for a dressy look and my strappy sandals for a relaxed look!

Style 3: Denim on Denim
That’s right, I’m throwing the Canadian Tuxedo your way!!! LOL!! I know not everyone is a fan of denim on denim but if it’s done right, I think it can make for a cute and classic outfit!! I love pairing a chambray top and slip on shoes for an effortless day to day look.
Style 4: Oversized Waffle Thermal
Another casual style perfect for running errands or dropping the kiddos off at school! I found this waffle thermal at Urban Outfitters and while this exact one is out of stock, they have similar ones available that are just as cute!!

Jilly
I ordered those jeans about a month ago and the bottom is rolled up and sewn that way ! Did you just take apart the stitching ??
Love these posts Jillian! And if you order the jeans through the AE app it’s another 25% off this weekend only
Jill, how does the Fox + Wit top fit? True to size? (I know it’s meant to be oversized, just unsure if you went smaller)
True to size!!
I love those looks, wish I could dress like that. I find I dress like a kid at 5-2 and small I find myself shopping more in the children section. I am making some changes this year, I pray this is one of them. Thanks Jill for the inspiration. ?
I love this post, affordable jeans and options. I’m always thinking how I have to look in my own closet for inspiration and just add main classic pieces to build my wardrobe. Great post! Thank you.
I loved this post, Jillian! I have a very similar style to yours and I loved how it was all sourced and ready to go for me! I ordered a lot of things on here. Thanks for the fun online shopping excursion!
