My Favourite Place to Work (and Play!) in Kelowna

I’m sure many of you are well aware of my love for Quails’ Gate. AKA my favourite place to work and play (I mean, dinner dates count as play, right??) in Kelowna! For those of you who may not be familiar with Quails’ Gate, it’s a 100% family-owned award-winning, and sustainably run and operated winery right here in Kelowna! Not only does Quails’ Gate make one of my all-time favourite red wines … (currently drooling just thinking of their Pinot Noir!) but they also have an incredible restaurant (you have probably seen me enjoying my time at Old Vines Restaurant more than once … lol!). On top of that, Quails’ Gate is also the perfect spot to host a meeting! In fact, you can generally find me and Team Jilly here at least once a month!

I enjoy taking you behind the scenes over on my IG stories when we are meeting (and dining!) at Quails’ Gate but something you might not know is that Quails’ Gate has even more event spaces and accommodations than what you’ve seen us using! So, today I want to share some of those details with you because the options really are endless when it comes to what you can do here … from hosting a meeting to throwing a baby shower … or even escaping with your loved ones for an Okanagan getaway … you can do it all, right here!

Ps. Quails’ Gate has also generously put together some exclusive offers for you which I’ll share below, in case you fall in love with any of these spaces like we did!

Stewart Family Room

Let’s kick this off with the room that is probably the most familiar to you, The Stewart Family Room! When we meet as a team we either meet in the Stewart Family Room or in the Boardroom downstairs! I mean, is there anything better than having a team meeting at a local winery where you can break for a delicious lunch and soak up the gorgeous vineyard and lake views with a glass of wine in hand?? I don’t think so! LOL! We also hosted one of our parties for Love It Or List It in the Stewart Family Room! It’s the perfect spot to mix work and play!

One thing I LOVE so much about the Stewart Family Room is the fact that you can actually open up the glass walls which would be AMAZING on a warm spring day! Not to mention, it shows off the gorgeous vineyard and lake views! If you are planning on hosting a work meeting in this space, it comes with A/V equipment and you can also get breakfast and lunch catered right in your room … but we suggest to take a break and hit up Old Vines Restaurant for lunch. 😉

The Lake House

If you’re looking for amazing accommodations for an EPIC getaway (I’m talking leave the kids at home and escaping with your girlfriends kind of getaway!!), or if you’re planning a family reunion or special celebration … or if you just want to have a wine indulgent weekend then you NEED to check out The Lake House! Not only is The Lake House stunning but it sits right on Okanagan Lake and can accommodate 14 guests with 5 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms!

Actually, when we hosted our Mamas for Mamas VIP Lunch, this is where Kaitlyn Bristowe stayed for a couple of nights and she loooooved it! I mean, how could you not? LOL! My wheels are already spinning with ideas of how I can sneak off with my girlfriends for a staycation or what it would be like to host our wedding party here. Just picture it, waking up, sipping on coffee, enjoying a delish brunch spread then hanging out by the lake together!! Count me IN! In fact, I don’t think I’d want to leave!

If this sounds like the perfect getaway for you then you might just be interested in the exclusive offer below!!

The Nest

The Nest is so peaceful and picturesque and is the perfect option if you have a smaller group or if you’d like to slip away for the weekend with that special someone (hey, Justin Pasutto … are you taking notes?? LOL!). The Nest is also steps away from Okanagan Lake and comfortably accommodates 7 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms! As I’m writing this I’m also thinking how fun it would be to do a Team Jilly retreat here one weekend … hmmm … it sounds like I have some planning ahead of me! LOL!

If you really want to treat yourself, pop on up to Quails’ Gate (about a 2 min drive or a 5-10 minute walk through the vineyard from both The Nest and The Lake House to the restaurant and tasting room) and indulge in a private wine tasting or take it up a notch and enjoy a wine and cheese or wine and chocolate tasting! Both of these can be arranged by the Quails’ Gate team! If you stay over the course of a weekend, also be sure to pop in for their weekend brunch or Sunday High Tea! I can attest that BOTH are awesome!! LOL! Check out my recent experience here with Team Jilly!

If you’re already dreaming of a mini-vacation here and you’re from out of town, don’t forget that there’s also plenty of things to do off-site such as boating and paddleboarding in the summer and even horseback riding!! If you’re popping by in the winter there are a ton of hiking trails to check out (don’t forget your snowshoes!) and there are always plenty of wine tours to go on!!

  1. How do we find the links for the dress and shirts that you’re wearing? I checked like to know it and nothing is linked. I love the leaopard print dress

  2. The Stewart room is also great for a small wedding. We had the doors Opened and got married on the balcony with all of our guests sitting back into the room it was perfect. The our guests did a wine tour while they swapped the room over for dinner. We danced the Night away on the balcony.
