OMG! The time has come!! WOW. JUST WOW. I’m shaking of excitement writing this blog about THE JILLY BOX! You guys, it’s been 3 years of planning, research, meetings, emails, polls, ideas, blood (ok, maybe there was no blood … LOL!), sweat, and tears!! We have poured our heart and soul into creating The Jilly Box and honestly, it couldn’t have been done without the amazing team of people who have contributed, from Team Jilly to our third-party suppliers, like Locality and the amazing companies we have partnered with, all of the tech companies, the list goes on!! This venture has been a wild ride, but it is all worth it to bring you the FIRST EVER JILLY BOX!!!

When embarking on this new business it was really important to me that we could support brands I love, including small North American brands, that it was as eco-friendly as possible, that there was minimal plastic and that the items were products our community would love! This came with a few twists and turns (*cough* the box!) and some really hard decisions, but we stuck to our mission and our values and we have created just that!

Let’s get right into it! We know you’ve all been wondering what the heck The Jilly Box is and how to sign up! So, today I’m going to dish ALL of that information but first I want to mention that you should mark your calendars and set your alarms now for Monday, October 28th at 9am PST! We anticipate The Jilly Box will sell out fast and we want to make sure you don’t miss out! We have a limited number of boxes available and many of the items in the box are exclusive to this season of The Jilly Box! Alright, let’s get to some of the FAQs below! First things first, what is the Jilly Box?!

What is the Jilly Box?

The Jilly Box is a seasonal membership with each box being curated with that season in mind and delivered to you each season with a convenient quarterly membership. Carefully selected and designed by Jilly with some custom products to the box that ranges from home decor, fashion, bath and beauty, health and wellness, accessories and everything in between!

Those who purchase The Jilly Box subscription will be automatically enrolled to get the next season’s box, as it is a recurring subscription. Every season you’ll be notified prior to payment processing and you’ll have a chance to add custom items to your box! The first Jilly Box is Fall 2019 – The Holiday Edition. *Hint, hint – this makes an amazing Christmas Gift!!

What is included in the Jilly Box?

Well, this is a secret (for now!)! LOL! Seriously though, we have had quite a few people ask us what the contents of the box are but we have also had SO MANY people tell us that they want it to be a surprise. So, we’ve decided to keep our lips sealed and keep it a surprise alllll the way up until launch day. So, we won’t be sharing any specifics until the Jilly Box sells out then we will start revealing the contents! However, we let you in on a few details below so that you have an idea of what to expect, without spilling the beans!

There are 10 items in the Jilly Box launch box (a mix of some exclusive items and items from some of my favourite brands!)

All of the items included are full-size items (this is our goal for every box but some boxes may have sample sizes!)

The value of the Fall 2019 – Holiday Edition box is nearly $400 CAD!

5 of the items were designed exclusively for the Jilly Box

There are 2 Jillian Harris digital downloadable products (I can’t WAIT to share these with you!)

1 of the items requires sizing (more on that below!)

2 of the items are accessories

2 of the items are in the beauty and wellness category

1 of the items will make your home cozy

1 of the items will make for the perfect holiday treat

1 of the items will allow you to spread some holiday cheer  (this could actually refer to 2 of the items 😉)

The Fall 2019 box suppliers are made up of 80% Canadian companies

1 box will include a GOLDEN TICKET (the lucky person who gets this will get something gold and sparkly!)

There is a limited edition add on option ( keep for yourself or gift to a friend!)

You can reuse your box!

How will the boxes vary each season?

The Jilly Box is a seasonal membership with each box being curated with that season in mind. We have carefully selected and designed some products that are custom to the box that ranges from home decor, fashion, bath and beauty, health and wellness, accessories and everything in between! The retail value of the Fall 2019 – Holiday Edition box is nearly $400 CAD!

How will I know if this box is right for me?

The Jilly Box is for anyone out there who loves my favourite products and my style and design and ultimately, for anyone looking for a way to treat themselves from time to time. Or, if you’re looking to scoop up custom products designed by myself and my favourite brands!

Can I purchase the box without a membership?

If you choose to only purchase one box, you must cancel your membership and later re-subscribe, which is subject to availability. The Jilly Box membership is recurring seasonally if you wish to cancel your subscription it must be done 30 days before the next billing date.

Can I buy more than one box at a time?

As the purchase of a Jilly Box is a subscription, there is a limit of one purchase per single email address. You are welcome to create your friends an account and purchase the box for them that way!

What types of memberships do you offer?

The Jilly Box offers one membership! It’s simple, you sign up for the Jilly Box and each season you are enrolled to get the next seasons box once your payment is processed, every quarter.

Where do you ship to?

We ship within Canada & the U.S. All major cities will be shipped via FedEx and rural areas will be shipped via Canada Post. Exclusions: Hawaii & Alaska. We hope to ship to more places in the near future!

What is the cost of shipping?

We are offering free shipping for the Jilly Box! However, any customs, duties, value-added, federal, state, local or other taxes outside of Canada are not included. As a Jilly Box member, you are responsible to pay for any such taxes related to the location you live. The Jilly Box has the right to charge you for any taxes we believe are required to pay or collect related to your purchase.

Can I pick up my Jilly Box in the Okanagan?

Yes!! We are so excited about this! If you’re in the Okanagan all you have to do is choose the option for “Local Pickup” when purchasing your delivery option and you can pick it up by November 19th from the Locality shop in Vernon, BC!

When will the Fall 2019 box ship?

The Jilly boxes will ship mid-to-late November. Our goal is that you receive the box before the holidays!

How do I choose my size?

As the items of the box are a secret, we ask that you use this sizing calculator and select “The Classics” style for the Fall 2019 Jilly Box, with available sizes ranging from XS to XL. For this launch box, please be extra careful when picking your size. We suggest sizing down for this specific box as the item is oversized. While ordering please ensure you select the right size. 

Can I change my Size?

Please ensure you are using this sizing calculator and select “The Classics” style to determine your size, with the available sizes ranging from XS to XL. If you select the wrong size, please email customer service [email protected] immediately. We will do our best to accommodate your sizing adjustments but we can’t make any guarantees that your new size will be available. 

What if I chose the wrong size?

Please use the sizing calculator and select “The Classics” style for the Fall 2019 Box. All sales are final and we cannot accommodate exchanges, so in cases like this, we suggest regifting as an option! If you select the wrong size, please email customer service [email protected] immediately. We will do our best to accommodate your sizing adjustments but we can’t make any guarantees that your new size will be available. You will receive an email with more sizing information soon. What is the Golden Ticket?

Every season, one lucky person chosen at random will receive the golden ticket, which means something extra special will be in their Jilly Box! For the launch box, this will be an item from Melanie Auld, valued at $375 CAD!

What is the price of the Jilly Box?

The Jilly Box is priced at $170 CAD for each seasonal box! The retail value of the Fall 2019 – Holiday Edition box is nearly $400 CAD and includes Jilly’s favourite full-sized products and many exclusive products and items designed by Jilly! For customers outside of Canada, please check your exchange rate.

What is the value of the Jilly Box?

The retail value of the box is nearly $400 CAD! Plus, many of the products in the box are exclusive products designed by Jilly!

Will taxes be applied to my purchase?

At check out, you will be charged for the taxes depending on your jurisdiction in which you reside.

What is the currency of the Jilly Box?

The Jilly Box is a Canadian company, therefore, your purchase will be in Canadian dollars. If you use a credit card that is in a different currency your purchase may be converted by your credit card company to the currency of your credit card in accordance with their terms and conditions.

What credit cards do you accept?

The Jilly Box accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express payments from customers. Pay Pal is not accepted.

How do I purchase the Jilly Box?

On Monday, October 28th at 9 am PST the Jilly Box will be for sale right on this page! If you’re an email subscriber to our newsletter you’ll be notified prior to the sales launch and you can directly follow that link to purchase on Jillian’s site!

Will I be able to recycle the box?

Yes, the box is made by a female-run Canadian company that creates boxes in Canada that are recyclable and are carbon-neutral. The boxes are also designed to be reused prior to recycling. You can flip your box inside out and use it to store items like photographs, ribbons and bows, Christmas ornaments, and so much more!

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel your membership in your online portal at least 30 days before the next billing date.

  7. Love the concept, I just wish you knew what you were getting before you ordered it. I’m sure all the products will be beautiful, but at this price point I want to know what I’m getting before I commit $170 (which is a totally reasonable price given the amount/quality of products). I know other subscription boxes do the same model but they’re also a lower investment/financial risk in the event the products aren’t a good fit. Maybe after I see what’s in the first box I’ll change my mind but for now it’s too much of an unknown.

    Also would be cool to see a box (or a few) raffled off like was done for the Mamas for Mamas lunch seats. For a donation, people are entered into a raffle to win a box. Concept could also work for the Etsy collections. Not sure if this would be a logistical nightmare but just a thought 🙂 Keep up the great work!

  9. I’m not understanding how I go about putting my name in and paying for a jilly box. I’m not an avid computer person. Everything I do is on my cell phone. I’m from Grande Prairie Ab and really don’t want to miss out. Just have never done this before. Also, can I pay for a 4 boxes at once to ensure I get the following.? Thx.

    1. Hi Natasha! At this point in time, we can only offer shipping to Canada & the U.S., excluding Hawaii and Alaska. It’s always an option to get it sent to a friend in those areas and have them ship to you!! XO

  11. For future “golden tickets” I feel like a voucher for a Dyson airwrap could be cool! I know you’ve done partnerships with dyson before so seems like it could be a natural fit. I’ve heard great things about the air wrap but it’s pricey.

  13. For future “golden ticket” ideas, I think a dyson airwrap voucher could be a neat idea. I know you”ve partnered with Dynson in the past, so it feels like a natural fit. I”ve heard great things about the airwrap but its pricey.. I know I would be excited if that was a possibility 🙂

    1. Hi Amanda! At the point of purchase, your credit card will be charged $170 CAD plus taxes for the Fall 2019 box. Moving forward, you’ll be notified prior to the next billing cycle for the Winter 2020 box, in the New Year! XO

It was sent out in batches so that it could reach each subscriber without the website crashing. Our team is taking the appropriate steps to ensure that this is adjusted and taken care of prior to the launch of the next box.
