In “Summer Love” With The JH x MA Jewelry Collection

You guys have no idea how excited I am …. the wait is finally over!!! Something I have been waiting so patiently to share with you for months!!! We have worked endless hours with the Melanie Auld team creating something so close to the heart for both of us … and for you. If you haven’t already noticed, I have teamed up with Vancouver jewelry designer Melanie Auld to create a limited edition JH x MA Jewelry Collection called “Summer Love“.

When we started to think about what the “name” of the collection was going to be, Summer Love was one of the first things that came to mind. Not only am I growing a bundle of love in my belly … but summer is always inspired by LOVE … isn’t it!?!?! Our Summer Love collection is really about those meaningful relationships we as women all have. Whether its best friends, mothers, daughters, sisters, cousins, we wanted to create a collection that celebrates these connections. The collection is dainty and includes delicate pieces made with semi-precious stones such as moonstone, pink opal and turquoise, set into rings, bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. Every piece is meant to be lived in and layered. When Melanie and I put our minds together we wanted to do more than just create beautiful designs and a beautiful jewelry collection. We also wanted to give back to our community in some way. SO we have teamed up with A Better Life Foundation to donate $3.50 of every piece sold to provide a meal to those in need.When creating the best friend necklace I wanted to do a grown up modernized spin on my childhood favorite. It had to be something that could be worn every day and with anything. One of the reasons why I love this “half heart” pave is because it looks great separately and is unique and edgy compared to the traditional BFF necklaces!! Something personal, unique and easy to wear … just the way I like it!If you love the best friend necklace but have more than one best friend, we wanted to make sure we covered everyone important to you so the X and O necklaces can be bought separately and in any quantity you want. My ORIGINAL inspiration for the X’s and O’s was my cousin Sam’s wedding. I wanted to create something delicate that would be perfect for a bridal party gift but was also meaningful and fashionable. Now all my BFF’s know what I’m getting them for a present ….The little stone hearts which I love SO MUCH (I’ve been wearing mine almost every day) were created to symbolize sons and daughters (or loved ones). The pink opal representing girls and the turquoise representing boys. If you don’t know what you’re having or have a boy AND a girl, we created the moonstone option which I LOVE love love!
